I create with charcoal and pastels because they don’t stay neat—

they smudge, they stain, they leave a mark.

Just like memory. Just like spirit.

My art lives in the space between the sacred and the strange.

It’s spiritual, a little eerie, often playful.

It laughs with sarcasm and hums with joy,

all held by deep gratitude for those who came before me.

I don’t chase perfection—I chase feeling.

And I honor the mess it takes to get there.
